Domestic Swing Gates
Automated swing gates have various methods of operation and once activated, they can stay open for a preset period, usually 0-120 seconds, and then close automatically. If you choose to have an automated swing gate, there are several ways in which they may operate:
Underground
It works through a geared motor and since it is underground, it does not interfere with the aesthetic appearance of the gate. However, in case of emergency, you can also operate the gates manually through a emergency override. The automation system's foundation box has a galvanized coating making it highly resistant to any adverse conditions.
Overground
It can automate gates up to 3m wide. With the use of appropriate accessories, the irreversible operator attaches to the gate. This irreversible system enhances the security since it mechanically locks once the motor ceases to operate. The gate is usually operated remotely but in case of a power failure, you can move the gate using a manual release.
Heavy duty overground
It operates using a hydraulic unit consisting of a hydraulic piston and electric pump which enable gate movement. It also covers you in case of an emergency using a manual override release key to operate the gate if there are no power.
